NAME

Device::RFXCOM::Encoder::HomeEasy - Device::RFXCOM::Encoder::HomeEasy encode HomeEasy RF messages

VERSION

version 1.163170

SYNOPSIS

  # see Device::RFXCOM::RX

DESCRIPTION

This is a module for encoding RF messages for HomeEasy (http://www.homeeasy.eu/) devices so that they can be dispatched to an RFXCOM RF transmitter.

METHODS

encode( $parent, \%params )

This method constructs the RF message data for a message to send to a HomeEasy device.

encode_address( $addr )

Takes a 26-bit address in the form of a hex string prefixed by '0x' or an arbitrary string. A hex string is converted in the obvious way. An arbitrary string is hashed to a 26-bit value.

THANKS

Special thanks to RFXCOM, http://www.rfxcom.com/, for their excellent documentation and for giving me permission to use it to help me write this code. I own a number of their products and highly recommend them.
