fixed memory corruption caused by not properly allocating the cdb structure.
write database in hilbert-curve order to improve locality of accesses (also typically improves compression).
improved some geo-latlon2place-makedb error messages.
convert to C++.

generate database for use with Geo::LatLon2Place

convert latitude and longitude to nearest place

To install Geo::LatLon2Place, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm Geo::LatLon2Place

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install Geo::LatLon2Place
