This is the README for Lingua::JA::Gairaigo::Fuzzy version 0.07.

Lingua::JA::Gairaigo::Fuzzy is a "module" for the Perl computer programming
language, a library of computer code to install on a computer.  This
document contains four sections:

1. ABOUT

Lingua::JA::Gairaigo::Fuzzy - variant spellings of foreign words in
Japanese

Given two Japanese gairaigo words (katakana words), guess whether they
are the same word. Japanese language is somewhat inconsistent in how
it writes foreign loan words. For example "motor" can be モーター or
モータ from the English "motor", or モートル from Dutch "motor".
This
module attempts to guess whether two loanwords refer to the same
thing.

This module requires Perl version 5.8.9 or later.

To install the module from CPAN, use

    cpan Lingua::JA::Gairaigo::Fuzzy

If you have the App::cpanminus installer, you may prefer

    cpanm Lingua::JA::Gairaigo::Fuzzy

To install the module from the source file,
Lingua-JA-Gairaigo-Fuzzy-0.07.tar.gz, follow this sequence of commands:

    tar xfz Lingua-JA-Gairaigo-Fuzzy-0.07.tar.gz
    cd Lingua-JA-Gairaigo-Fuzzy-0.07
    perl Makefile.PL
    make
    make install

If you want to test the module before installing it, use "make test" after
"make" and before "make install".
