<PRE>I think the protocol for drag and drop in motif was down to a company called
IXI.
I used it with emacs on SCO with IXI's X-Desktop.

They have a book out called 'The X-Desktop Cookbook' or something and the spec
was in there. (a couple of years ago).


I've not had much luck finding net/web references for IXI - sorry.
