If you just want to test time-shell.pl without installing it, type:

./time-shell.pl

Then paste one of the following into your shell:

{ "command" : "time" }

{ "command" : "hiResTime" }

The first will return a scalar representation of time, while the second will return an array reference of the time values. In doing this we're simulating what SSH::RPC::Client would send the shell if we used time-client.pl.

To install the shell simply run useradd like this:

useradd -s /path/to/time-shell.pl testuser

Then either set up a password for testuser or an ssh key so you can authenticate against it.
