<text text-anchor="middle" x="391.952" y="-2722.3" font-family="Times,serif" font-size="14.00">powder used in cosmetics and as a drying</text>
<text text-anchor="middle" x="391.952" y="-2707.3" font-family="Times,serif" font-size="14.00">powder.</text>
<text text-anchor="middle" x="391.952" y="-2676.3" font-family="Times,serif" font-size="14.00">Industry officials also attacked studies that</text>
<text text-anchor="middle" x="391.952" y="-2661.3" font-family="Times,serif" font-size="14.00">showed increased lung cancer in talc miners</text>
<text text-anchor="middle" x="391.952" y="-2646.3" font-family="Times,serif" font-size="14.00">in New York State and questioned an</text>
<text text-anchor="middle" x="391.952" y="-2631.3" font-family="Times,serif" font-size="14.00">experiment that showed that rats breathing</text>
<text text-anchor="middle" x="391.952" y="-2616.3" font-family="Times,serif" font-size="14.00">high concentrations of talc got lung cancer.</text>
<text text-anchor="middle" x="391.952" y="-2585.3" font-family="Times,serif" font-size="14.00">Higher lung&#45;cancer rates in talc miners may</text>
<text text-anchor="middle" x="391.952" y="-2570.3" font-family="Times,serif" font-size="14.00">have resulted from their smoking or from the</text>
<text text-anchor="middle" x="391.952" y="-2555.3" font-family="Times,serif" font-size="14.00">presence of radon gas in the mines or</text>
<text text-anchor="middle" x="391.952" y="-2540.3" font-family="Times,serif" font-size="14.00">asbestos in soils nearby, industry officials</text>
<text text-anchor="middle" x="391.952" y="-2525.3" font-family="Times,serif" font-size="14.00">said.</text>
<text text-anchor="middle" x="391.952" y="-2494.3" font-family="Times,serif" font-size="14.00">The scientific advisers then deadlocked on</text>

<text text-anchor="middle" x="391.952" y="-2388.3" font-family="Times,serif" font-size="14.00">known human carcinogen.</text>

<text text-anchor="middle" x="391.952" y="-2342.3" font-family="Times,serif" font-size="14.00">as heat and can damage the eyes and skin. It</text>
<text text-anchor="middle" x="391.952" y="-2327.3" font-family="Times,serif" font-size="14.00">comes in three forms, ranging from the</text>
<text text-anchor="middle" x="391.952" y="-2312.3" font-family="Times,serif" font-size="14.00">relatively long&#45;wavelength UVA to the</text>
