This is the Java JNI module for using libzxid. This JNI module is
tightly integrated into the main ZXID project and distribution.
As the diretory name reflects, the package name is zxidjava so
you would do in your .java file:
import zxidjava.*;
The Java stuff lives in
zxidjava.jar Classes to use zxid
zxiddemo.war Demonstration servlet ready to deploy
The Java JNI interface also needs the C library (which must be
found by dynamic linker):
libzxidjni.so C library implementing ZXID JNI interface
zxidjni.dll Windows version of the JNI
zxid.dll Windows version of ZXID core
> N.B. The .jar (or .war) DOES NOT contain libzxidjni.so. You need to
> download and copy this file separately. The .jar is platform
> independent. The libzxidjni.so (or zxidjni.dll) is platform
> dependent.

zxid/zxid-java.pd Using ZXID from Java
zxid/zxidsrvlet.java Ready to use SSO servlet
zxid/zxidappdemo.java Example code for using SSO servlet
zxid/zxidhlo.java Example code for direct SSO integration
Install
cd zxid-0.40
make dep
make # creates libzxid
make javazxid
make zxiddemo.war # also builds zxidjava.jar
cp zxiddemo.war ../apache-tomcat-5.5.20/webapps/
# copy libzxidjni.so to place where dynamic linking finds it
cp libzxidjni.so ../apache-tomcat-5.5.20/bin/
# On Windows you need to copy zxid.dll and zxidjni.dll
Rather than program directly with the module, you probably
want to deploy it as a Servlet, e.g. in Tomcat. For this
the SSO servler is zxidsrvlet.java and an example payload
application using the SSO servlet is provided in
zxidappdemo.java
You can study both for source code, or use them as template
to develop your own code.
If you get compilation errors, check SERVLET_PATH and other variables
in Makefile (see zxid-java.pd and zxid-install.pd for details).
See zxid-java.pd (or html) for further information.
