Tk-EntryCheck version 0.04
==========================

Since I sometimes develop Perl/Tk-Applications, I often need to check
which characters and how many of them can be inserted into a Textfield
called Tk-Entry. Well, you can do everything this module contains with
the Tk::Entry-options -validate and -validatecmd, but this way it is
easier by just providing one or two very simple options, e.g.

  use Tk;
  use Tk::EntryCheck;

  my $mw = MainWindow->new();

  my $entry = $mw->EntryCheck(

    # some standard Entry-Options which are forwarded to Tk::Entry
    -width => 20,

    # and now the new options
    -maxlength => 10, # will accept a maximum of 10 chars as content
    -pattern => qr/\d/, # will accept only \d, nothing else
  )
  ->pack();

  MainLoop();
