a PerlIO layer that adds read & write timeout to a handle

a PerlIO::via::Timeout strategy that uses Time::Out (based on alarm)

a PerlIO::via::Timeout strategy that don't do any timeout

a PerlIO::via::Timeout strategy that uses select

To install PerlIO::via::Timeout, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm PerlIO::via::Timeout

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install PerlIO::via::Timeout
