use ICMP and ICMPv6 protocol constants from Socket instead of a getprotobyname lookup per ping

asyncronously check remote host for reachability

To install Net::Async::Ping, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm Net::Async::Ping

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install Net::Async::Ping
