edetect - detect encoding of a file

SYNOPSIS

    edetect xyz.txt
    xyz.txt: Big5

Detect the encoding of the files specified on the command line.

To install Encode::Detective, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm Encode::Detective

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install Encode::Detective
