You can use perldoc to read this document: perldoc README.darwin.

Both the DiCoP daemon (dicopd) and the client should run under MAC OS X. See the file README for general instructions.
You need to install a couple of Perl modules from http://search.cpan.org - namely:
Digest::MD5
HTML::Tagset
HTML::Parser
HTTP::Request
Linux::Cpuinfo
Mail::Sendmail
Math::BigInt
Math::String
Tie::File
Net::Server
URI
Some of them will fail some tests, but these should not be critical.
Linux/Cpuinfo will not pass it's testsuite and fail in general since there is no /proc file system. However, it is currently neccessary for the client to and must be present (even if it is non-working).
You also will probably need to install the BSD SDK supplied as part of the Apple Developer Package CD.
Linux/Cpuinfo.pm does not work and there is not yet a method to get the CPU info. This is uncritical, however.
