NAME

Sys::Info::Driver::Windows::OS::Editions - Interface to identify Windows editions

SYNOPSIS

None. Used internally.

DESCRIPTION

This document describes version 0.72 of Sys::Info::Driver::Windows::OS::Editions released on 3 May 2009.

Although there are not much Windows versions, there are ridiculously lots of editions of Windows versions after Windows 2000. This module uses WMI, GetSystemMetrics and CPU architecture to define the correct operating system name and edition.
