NAME

pdfcheck - check a pdf document for correctness and compatibility with ocr

DESCRIPTION

Test a pdf document for what we can do with it on this system. Test a pdf file for ability to pass ocr. This tests problem pdf documents, for things like malformed xref tables. These are pdf documents that for some reason are not spitting out text, and you think they should.

The order of tests are

   basic filesystem check
   check for PDF::API2 and CAM::PDF
   PDF::Burst
   PDF::OCR2

USAGE

pdfcheck [OPTION].. [FILE]..

OPTION

   -d       debug   
   -h       help
   -v       version
   -b       attempt PDF::Burst and PDF::OCR2

Usage Examples

   pdfcheck ./file.pdf
