work around a bug in perl 5.20 (and probably later) where undef array elements become null pointers in the array. this caused segmentation faults on illegal/unsupported ASN.1 types.

speed up Net::SNMP by decoding in XS, with limitations

To install Net::SNMP::XS, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm Net::SNMP::XS

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install Net::SNMP::XS
