narada-release - release current changes in Narada project
This document describes narada-release version v2.3.8
narada-release
Should be executed in Narada 1.x project root directory.
Generate project update in files var/patch/VERSION.$USER.* where VERSION is contents of config/version. This update should be then applied locally on var/patch/.prev/ (just run narada-patch) and can be applied on another installation of this project by uploading these files into var/patch/ of that installation and executing narada-patch.

Increment version number in config/version if this file wasn't modified manually since last update.
Run $EDITOR doc/ChangeLog to let you enter changes for this update. After you exit from editor will add/update header line in doc/ChangeLog.

Create var/patch/VERSION.$USER.99.patch with changes for files config/version and doc/ChangeLog.

Rename var/patch/CURRENT.* to var/patch/VERSION.$USER.*.

Rename var/patch/PENDING.* to var/patch/VERSION.$USER.*.
var/patch/PENDING.*
Create empty var/patch/PENDING.* (just for convenience).
